Former Hewlett-Packard CEO Carly Fiorina, “Duck Dynasty” star Phil Robertson and presumptive Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump will speak at the 2016 Western Conservative Summit, along with 36 other conservative politicians and public figures. The summit, which has been called “the largest gathering of conservatives outside of Washington D.C.,” will begin 10 a.m. Friday, July 1, and conclude at 12 p.m. Sunday, July 3, at the Colorado Convention Center in Denver.
Texas Senator Ted Cruz, South Carolina Governor Nikki Haley and Texas Governor Greg Abbott were invited to the summit, but have not yet confirmed their attendance. Christian electronic dance music group Transform DJs is scheduled to perform for ticket holders on Friday.
According to the Centennial Institute, the Colorado-based conservative think tank that has put on the Western Conservative Summit annually since 2010, the 2015 Summit attracted about 3,850 delegates.
The theme of this year’s summit is “The Land we Love.” In addition to prominent speakers and the EDM performance, the summit will also hold breakout sessions and other exhibitions for attendees.
