In the spirit of the TEDx talks’ slogan, “Ideas Worth Spreading,” TEDxCSU, an independently-organized TED event, will be held March 5 at Colorado State University between 11 a.m. and 5 p.m. in the Lory Student Center Theatre.
From an invitation-only event, the Ted Conference has transformed itself over the last 26 years into an inclusive platform, which allows people to see and hear some of the best TED content for free, online.
Local organizations are able to host their very own TEDx talks in accordance with the TED format.
TEDxCSU will feature 10 speakers, who will present on topics ranging from interfaith cooperation to bison conservation and ideas about consent and finding your calling. Tickets are required to the event and can be purchased through csutix.com for $5 with a student ID. General public admission is $30.
