The student organization No More Injustice aims to bring awareness to modern day slavery in the form of human trafficking in their event Enslaved. In the fourth year of this annual event, Enslaved will consist of simulations that depict human trafficking here in Colorado. It will take place March 3 and 4 from 10 a.m. until 4 p.m. in the Lory Student Center.
Enslaved will specifically highlight labor and sex trafficking in simulations featuring student volunteers. Students and community members will be guided through stimulation rooms and will have the opportunity for group reflection and
discussion. A trade fair will also be held, consisting of advocacy groups and vendors supporting the awareness of human trafficking.
Enslaved is a free event, but due to graphic content, only persons 16 years or older will be admitted to the event.
