An algorithm is the procedure which all computer programs follow. It is the most important piece of any program. She is the foundational computer scientist. Her mother wanted Ada to pursue something less despicable than poetry. Now, instead of delicious cookies and flowery sentences, we have no society, thanks to social media. Thanks a lot Ada!
